Key Responsibilities:
This Senior Practitioner post sits within the Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS), specifically the Ongoing Support and Review Team. The Senior Practitioner will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the OSR team for ILDS. Monitoring the staff folders, allocating cases, delegating tasks, line managing social workers, completing the COP community cases. The applicant must have experience of line management, a sound understand of the implementation of the Care Act (2014) assessments, the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and the Mental Health Act (1983) as well as be legally literate and have experience of Court of Protection work. The ILDS is a supportive integrated team that includes Nurses, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Analysts, Dietetics, Support Workers, Speech and Language Therapists.The post holder would benefit from having experience in a similar team. Essential Requirements:
Degree/Masters in Social Work and SWE registration.
2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation and practice.
