Are you a creative communicator who loves storytelling and making a difference?
At Community First Yorkshire, we champion voluntary, community and rural organisations across North, South and West Yorkshire - and we need your help to bring their stories to life and share the incredible impact they have on local communities.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of our communications work within our small but mighty Marketing & Communications team of four. You’ll be using your skills to amplify the voices of the communities we support, sharing their impact through every post, campaign, and video. Whether it’s crafting compelling social media content, developing digital campaigns, designing promotional materials, or showcasing the outcomes of vital local projects - you’ll be making a real impact every day.
Part of your role will be to provide communications support to our Climate Action team in the successful delivery of the Village Green programme for North Yorkshire - a three-year initiative funded by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with all-round excellent marketing and communication skills, who is digitally savvy and knows how to share the impact of our many services and projects. You will need an eye for what looks good and reads well.
If you are self-motivated and organised, love design, websites, words, social media and digital content, and are not fazed by working on multiple projects and campaigns, then this is the job for you. In return we can offer a role that is varied and interesting, with flexible working and a happy, supportive and collaborative team where you will be valued and able to develop your skills.
