Here at Platform, we believe in making a difference to people's lives and we work to achieve this by providing the best levels of service to our residents and always approaching challenges with a can-do attitude.

We’re looking for someone with experience supporting older people in settings such as sheltered housing, housing management, residential care, home care, social services, or health services. You’ll also be confident working with a range of voluntary and statutory agencies to help coordinate care and support that meets residents’ individual needs.

What could you be doing?

You’ll be providing a housing and tenancy management service to maximise tenancy sustainment.

You’ll be a regular and flexible customer contact for the residents, providing practical and preventative support and advice. You’ll signpost to specialist care and support services to maximise wellbeing, social interaction and minimise isolation.

You’ll provide effective building management, including property inspections, risk assessments, H&S monitoring and compliance checks

You will respond, investigate and take timely action to reported breaches of tenancy/leasehold agreements

You will maintain customer records and data accordingly.

And respond to TEC alarm activations and building related emergencies to ensure effective crisis incident handling and customer communication.

This is a 30-hour role across 5 days (Monday–Friday) with core hours between 8am and 5pm with the expectation of being on a out of hours call rota.

About You

You’ll have a warm, confident approach and enjoy working independently in a people-focused environment. With strong admin and organisational skills, you’ll be comfortable balancing day-to-day tasks while responding to residents’ needs and coordinating with different teams. You’ll have strong budgeting skills and be able to analyze data.

You’ll be customer focused and have some awareness of working with vulnerable adults. You’ll have great interpersonal skills and able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds. You’ll also be very confident in using ICT software such as Microsoft Packages systems.

You’ll have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team around residents to ensure their needs are being met. This role is very much an operational role, so dealing with conflicting demands, and ensuring the quality of service is not compromised, will be a challenge you’ll confidently manage.
