Summary
FJA are currently seeking a Senior Fire, Health & Safety Consultant on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry to strengthen their team.
This role is based in Farringdon Road, London

Senior Fire, Health & Safety Consultant role:
Conduct Fire, Health, and Safety Risk Assessments in compliance with legislation.
Create customized emergency and evacuation plans for individual tenants.
Oversee and lead client-specific projects while serving as a competent person.
Develop Fire Management Plans and interpret Fire Strategies for diverse buildings.
Provide management advice and conduct gap analysis reports.
Guide junior consultants and actively contribute to team meetings.
Support the Technical Director on departmental projects and stay updated on legislation and advise clients on compliance.
Identify solutions to fire and health-related issues and ensure client support.
Senior Fire, Health & Safety Consultant requirements:
Extensive technical expertise in fire, health, and safety legislation across multiple sectors, with strong proficiency in practical implementation.
Member of the IFSM or IFE.
Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
Registered on a recognised Fire Consultants’ Register.
Diploma level qualification in health and safety.
CMIOSH or equivalent (or working towards).
Familiar with the BAFE SP205 Validation process.
Demonstrable CPD record.
Comprehensive knowledge of British Standards pertaining to fire safety in the residential sector.
Expertise in Building Regulations (Approved Document B), British Standards, fire safety and health legislation, ACOPs, and Approved Documents M and K.
Awareness of CDM 2015 Regulations.
