Sales Account Executive

Job Location: Poole, Dorset (Near Fleetsbridge)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Account Executive for an independent distributor of products for the Automotive, Marine and Commercial industries.

Your role will see you communicating with B2B customers and updating them of product availability, pricing, finding out about their future requirements and communicating with them regularly to advise of other or better products for their requirements.

With a catalogue of products available to fulfil their client’s needs, you will be working from an existing database & prospecting new business.

The key duties for this position will include:

• Proactively driving sales from the existing UK customer base & new prospects to meet and exceed sales targets
• Building customer relationships to understand customer needs and developing tailored solutions
• Ability to handle objections i.e. price, product availability, time restraints etc
• Dealing with inbound calls and emails to process orders
• Processing of customer orders and upselling & making product recommendations
• Occasionally undertaking face to face meetings and attending trade shows

The successful applicant will:

• Previous experience in a B2B sales or account management role
• Strong objection handling skills with a confident approach to overcoming concerns
• Commercially minded and motivated by success
• Ability to build successful working relationships and engage with customers at all levels
