1:1 Learning Support Assistant needed for SEND College.
Are you an experienced LSA looking for a new challenge? Do you want the opportunity to enrich the lives of young people with Special Needs?
The college is based in South Birmingham and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 18+ are unable to attend mainstream education.
The college is desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic LSA to start in immediately on a long term supply basis. Working with students who have autism, ASD, ADHD and display challenging behaviour so exceptional behaviour management skills are a must.
The role will include:
• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• Work with pupils who requires additional support
• Leading group work
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
• Providing personal care for students
