| Gwybodaeth ychwanegol am y cyflog: | The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role. A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £16.46. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods. |

About Residential Care
Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility, as well as supporting emotional wellness.
About the role
As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. If you do have experience then take the next step in your career with us. As a large employer we can offer great opportunities to develop and build your skills to take you where you want to go.

Applethwaite Green is based in Windermere, with the capacity for 27 residents, catering for Dementia, Old Age and Frailty. We are a hard-working and dedicated team, and we strive to ensure our home provides a safe, caring and homely environment for our residents.
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 day a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
