What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an inspirational teacher of Media Studies and English at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a forward-thinking Academy that is developing its Media curriculum. The post would suit a teacher with existing Media experience as well as a more experienced candidate. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspects of teaching Media Studies and English and have proven experience of creating and maintaining an exciting classroom environment to inspire learning in this fast-moving subject.
The Carlton Academyis part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member ofRedhill College of Leadership and Developmentand as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regionalTeaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
