To support a friendly, inquisitive young girl with autism, associated learning difficulties and other healthcare needs, to attend holiday camp and sporting activities.Location: Norwich NR4.Details:
My daughter is a happy, energetic girl on the autistic spectrum. She is able to communicate and hold simple conversations, but doesn't like noise so requires a quiet, calm environment. You will be supporting with arts and craft activities; to access the swimming pool (getting in with her), bouncy castle and all sorts of fun activities that children enjoy. If she joins other children for activities you will only be expected to support her.
Hours: Mondays to Fridays during the summer holiday, 8.30 to 4.30pm. Flexible days considered, if you can only do 2/3 days, please specify on application.Person specification:Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. - Safety conscious
- Experience/interest in working with children with additional needs
- Calm and practical
- Flexible and available to cover varying hours
Desirable:
- Car owner/driver with full UK driving licence and appropriate business insurance or willingness to obtain this.
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks (calculated based on annual hours worked).

- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
