We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at Walmsley CE Primary School. This post is to cover a maternity leave and the year group/key stage will be decided based on experience of successful candidate. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who is both innovative and has extremely high expectations of themselves and the children in their care. You will work in partnership with the Senior Management Team and Governors to support the maintenance and future development of the school. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, imaginative and inspirational teacher who has the qualities to continue to develop our children’s love of learning and excitement about coming to school each day.

We are seeking to appoint a class teacher who:

  • Will be dedicated in supporting, upholding and further developing the vision and Christian ethos of our school.
  • Has an excellent subject knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Has high expectations of themselves, pupils and staff.
  • Is passionate in their belief that every child can and should achieve success.
  • Is an excellent and creative classroom practitioner, with evidence of high achievement and expertise.
  • Is highly motivated and hard working.
  • Will be committed to excellence in all aspects of the school’s performance.
  • Will have a continuing commitment and involvement with parents, the church, the wider community and all stakeholders.
  • Is charismatic and will promote the school to others.
