Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Do you have a genuine passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We're working with a vibrant, Ofsted-rated 'Good' school based in Leicestershire, catering to pupils aged 4-16 with SEMH needs. The school is looking for an empathetic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and structured learning environment. You'll be working closely with teachers and other support staff to help students build confidence, regulate their emotions, and engage positively with their education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1-1 support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in small groups.
- Use positive behaviour strategies to help students manage emotions and behaviours.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported.
- Encourage independence, resilience, and the development of essential life skills.
- Develop trust and consistency to help remove barriers to learning.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEMH or other special educational needs (SEN).
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
