This is a great time to join the authority as we have ambitious targets to meet and to achieve everything we have promised to our residents; we need people who are ready to deliver the very best for our communities.
We are seeking an experienced Property Services Team Leader to lead our in-house teams and develop it to exploit commercial opportunities. Managing a team of around twenty operational staff, you should be confident, and able to deal with challenging situations in a pressurised environment. The ability to motivate and encourage your teams is key. Applicants should have experience of managing teams in a construction/building industry or a related field. The ideal candidates will be able to work autonomously with exceptional organisation skills and a sound health and safety knowledge.
The role will be based at our Totnes Depot but will also necessitate visiting our other sites and visiting customers within the authority.
