We are seeking an experienced Housing and Support Coordinator to lead a team delivering high-quality housing management and resident support services.

Job Title: Housing and Support Coordinator
Location: Walthamstow
Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line-manage and support a team of Housing and Support Officers and Assistants
  • Coordinate resident referrals, intakes, and inductions while minimising voids and maximising occupancy
  • Manage high-risk residents using a person-centred, psychologically informed approach
  • Ensure rent collection, housing compliance, and address anti-social behaviour
  • Oversee support planning and safeguard resident welfare
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create effective move-on pathways

Requirements:

  • Experience supervising or leading teams in a supported housing or social care environment
  • Strong understanding of housing management, safeguarding, and tenancy/licence compliance
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads of vulnerable individuals with complex needs
  • Knowledge of rent management, void reduction strategies, and support planning
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends
