We attract some of the finest academic and creative talent and are committed to creating and sustaining learning and working environments, where difference is respected and the widest possible range of cultural and social perspectives are valued.

Applications are invited for a Senior Policy Officer in the Corporate Governance Office.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance, the successful candidate will be part of a small team that delivers high quality professional support, policy analysis and governance advice and guidance to GSA’s Board of Governors and Board committees.

This will include responsibility for a range of statutory and regulatory compliance activities that support the effective operation of the Board, and for providing a comprehensive, proactive and efficient committee and Board secretariat function.

The role involves frequent interaction with members of the Board, the Director of GSA and members of GSA’s Senior Leadership Group, and as such requires excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, tact and diplomacy. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, a flexible approach to working, and be able to demonstrate good judgment when handling sensitive information.

With a strong commitment to teamwork, the postholder will demonstrate a collegial, positive attitude and will actively contribute to delivery of Corporate Governance Office priorities.

We’re a small team with a key role to play in supporting excellence at GSA. You’ll be degree educated, or with equivalent experience, and will have worked with committees or Boards, including secretariat support.
