Job Description
Post Title: Apprentice Electrician
Location: Dingwall
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £24,242 - £26,216 p.a.
Year 1 and Year 2 - Living Wage rate (£24,242 p.a.)
Year 3 - 85% of HC05 (£24,759 p.a.)
Year 4 - 90% of HC05 (£26,216 p.a.)
Full trade rate: £29,129 - £31,899 p.a.

Job Purpose: To install and maintain a wide range of electrical works including Street Lighting, Floodlighting, Illuminated signs, Traffic Signals, Navigational Aids, Depots, Offices.
Apprentices will not only learn basic skills but will be given the opportunity to gain more responsibility and put new skills into practice.
The successful applicant will:
Repair and maintain Street Lighting, Floodlighting, Illuminated signs, Traffic Signals, Navigational Aids, Depots, Offices under guidance, instruction and training.

Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1 National 4 Qualification
- A current full driving licence is essential.
During the Apprenticeship you will undertake the following qualification:
SVQ 3 in Electrical Installation
SCQF Level 7
This is a 4 year Modern Apprenticeship programme.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake some
self-study
