The Job People are looking for a Forklift Combi Drivers to join a busy production factory in Castle Bromwich - B35 within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Industry.
The work is long term and we are recruiting on a temp 2 perm basis.
Candidates must have recent Counterbalance Experience and COMBI Truck Experience and valid licence.
Details of a Forklift Combi Driver based in Sutton Coldfield:
- Work Monday to Friday 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00
- Early finish on Fridays, earlier start / earlier finish on a Friday PM Shift
- 8 hour shifts
- Must be flexible
- Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday 22.00 - 06.00
- Pay from £13.60 - £27.20 per hour
- Double Time if you work on a Bank Holiday
- Hourly rate depends on shift and your ability.
- Overtime available
- Temp to Perm role
- Long term opportunity with training and individual progression throughout.
- FLT Counterbalance licence
As a Forklift Combi Driver in Sutton Coldfield, you would be required to:
- Have previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT (ideally 6 months minimum)
- Have recent experience on a COMBI TRUCK and have the valid licence
- Support the logistics team with all aspects of flt driving
- Move large palletts of stock around the factory and yard
- Safe moving of large bulky materials around the factory
- Safely load / unload vehicles
- Check paperwork / internal systems
- Use of basic pc / scanner
- Excellent time keeping, attendance and communication required at all times
- Ensure to follow all processes trained.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
Role of a Forklift Combi Driver in Sutton Coldfield;
- Be able to work unsupervised where required.
