Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Lead traffic engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
Conduct traffic studies and analyses to assess current conditions and predict future needs.
Develop and implement traffic management plans that enhance safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to gather input and ensure project alignment with community goals.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing training and support in traffic engineering practices.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
Review and approve design plans and specifications related to traffic infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or the ability to obtain one within a year.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering or related disciplines.
Proficiency with traffic simulation software and engineering design tools.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
