Summary
Envirocare Maintenance Solutions is hiring for a Ground Maintenance operative/driver based at our Chester Le Street depot. The position requires experience in commercial grounds maintenance, a full driving license, and potentially other licenses like a trailer license or PA1/PA6 NPTC Spraying license. Responsibilities include working as part of a team, managing time, driving, operating commercial grass cutting machinery such as John Deere ride-on, walk behind mowers, industrial strimmer's, hedge cutters etc and ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.
Specific Requirements:
Experience: Ideally a minimum of two years in commercial grounds maintenance.
Licences: Full driving license required with no more than 6 points and due to insurance purposes applicant wound have to be over 28 years old
Ideally the applicant will have experience with towing a trailer or a trailer licence and/or PA1/PA6 NPTC Spraying license may be needed.
Key Tasks:
Grass cutting and lawn maintenance.
Landscape maintenance.
Planting and maintenance of flowers, trees, shrubs, and beds.
Litter picking.
Application of herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides.
Winter services
Additional Information:
The position is full-time and permanent.
The location is the Envirocare Chester Le Street depot.
Applicants will need to be able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
