Summary
Are you looking for a new Maintenance Engineering position on days? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established team in a varied and hands-on role. This position offers a chance to work on days with a competitive salary and the opportunity to develop your skills further.
Essential Skills:
Electrical qualification to 18th Edition.
General maintenance experience, including building upkeep.
Experience in the maintenance of machinery (preventative and repair).
Full driving licence.
Preferable Skills (Willing to Train):
Forklift licence (preferable but not essential).
Gas Safe qualification (preferable but not essential).
PAT testing experience.
Asbestos removal/identification (training available).
Advantageous Skills:
Welding experience.
Lathe operation skills.
General plumbing experience.
Key Tasks:
Although this position is predominantly based in Stourbridge, the role will require travel to another (which is within a 2-3 hour commute) once every couple of weeks so will need a full clean driving licence.
Key holder duties and responsibility for opening up as needed.
Call-out duties for alarms, intruder/fire systems, and furnace (although minimal)
Abilities:
Strong teamwork and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Punctual and reliable.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 12:30pm
