As the Assistant Head of Spectrum Projects for Defence Digital this post is responsible for three strands of work: leading all spectrum related projects for Defence, leading all finance tasks with the strategy team, and engaging internationally with partners supporting the commitments of the wider spectrum policy team.
Design and manage the end-to-end process for all technical projects, including creating reports and briefings on project outcomes.
Lead on the UK Spectrum release and sharing projects.
Evaluate threats and opportunities to UK spectrum access, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop national positions that safeguard UK Defence capabilities.
Oversee the delivery of business cases and manage the process for paying the annual spectrum access charge.
Maintaining a record of decisions made during the World Radio Conference (WRC) four-year cycle.
Supporting the Spectrum Policy Deputy Head by proactively engage internationally on spectrum policy issues.
