This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine for a Technician (veterinary clinical pathology).
The post holder will provide technical assistance, maintenance and practical support to academic, postgraduate and undergraduate service users within the clinical pathology laboratory. You will provide technical support in all core clinical pathology duties including sample preparation, centrifugation and separation, smear making and staining.
In addition, the post holder will provide support within veterinary diagnostic services specimen reception: checking mail, labelling and assigning diagnostic samples to relevant laboratories, preparing paperwork and packaging samples for forwarding to external laboratories.
