**Job Title:** Sheet Metal Fabricator Specialist in Planishing & Eckold Hammer Operation
**Location:** Small Heath, Birmingham
**Salary:** £16.00 £19.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
**Job Type:** Full-Time, Permanent
**About the Role:**
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator with experience in planishing and operating an Eckold hammer. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where quality and craftsmanship are key. Youll be contributing to the creation of luxury bespoke tableware used by some of the worlds most prestigious hotels and restaurants.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform expert planishing to shape and smooth metal components
* Operate an Eckold hammer for precision metal forming
* Fabricate high-end, bespoke metal products to exacting standards
* Work from technical drawings and design specifications
* Collaborate with a skilled team to meet production targets and maintain quality standards
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator
* Strong planishing skills
* Confident in using an Eckold hammer and related forming tools
* Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
* High level of attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship
* Experience working with stainless steel, silver, or similar metals is desirable
