Duration: CED 31/12/2025 Rolling 12 months thereafter
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager in the Civil Works Programme, you will:
- Lead the delivery of engineering workstreams and supply chain packages (up to £50M)
- Maximise replication from the Hinkley Point C design to de-risk the SZC Final Investment Decision
- Work collaboratively across engineering, construction, procurement and supply chain teams
- Drive SZC site-specific design modifications into contract-ready specifications
- Manage technical elements of procurement and engage suppliers early to identify risks
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with the Project Execution Plan
What We're Looking For
✅ Essential:
- Degree-qualified and Chartered in Project Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, or similar
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value infrastructure projects across full lifecycle
- Working knowledge of design, procurement and construction in industrial/energy sectors
- Familiarity with Earned Value and cost/schedule control
- English CEFR Level B2 or above
✅ Desirable:
- Experience in the nuclear industry
- Chartered Engineer and/or formal project management qualification
- Knowledge of UK regulatory and permitting frameworks
