Role: Project Manager Civils
Position: Contract
Location: London/Suffolk

Duration: CED 31/12/2025 Rolling 12 months thereafter

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager in the Civil Works Programme, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of engineering workstreams and supply chain packages (up to £50M)
  • Maximise replication from the Hinkley Point C design to de-risk the SZC Final Investment Decision
  • Work collaboratively across engineering, construction, procurement and supply chain teams
  • Drive SZC site-specific design modifications into contract-ready specifications
  • Manage technical elements of procurement and engage suppliers early to identify risks
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with the Project Execution Plan

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Degree-qualified and Chartered in Project Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, or similar
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value infrastructure projects across full lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of design, procurement and construction in industrial/energy sectors
  • Familiarity with Earned Value and cost/schedule control
  • English CEFR Level B2 or above

Desirable:

  • Experience in the nuclear industry
  • Chartered Engineer and/or formal project management qualification
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory and permitting frameworks
