Senior Quantity Surveyor

MadiganGill are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a client based in Bagshot, Surrey for the next 3-6 months starting ASAP.

As a key member of the team the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:-

Liaising with the client to identify their needs.
Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour.
Submitting regular budget reports.
Preparing tender and contract documents.
Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour and helping site to stay within their budgets.
Ensuring that clients get value for their money.
Submitting regular budget reports.
Following building regulations and health and safety.
Evaluate contracts upon receipt of tender.

Essential Skills and Experience:-

The successful candidate will need to have proven QS experience at senior level in infrastructure environments.
Knowledge of NEC contracts Options C and E are required.
Experience of dealing with National Highways.
Working within CEMAR environment.

Rate:- £400-450 per day dependant upon experience.
