Summary

Reporting and Data Officer

This new and varied role will support the Business Information Manager in delivering timely, accurate, and insightful reporting services. You will also work closely with the Data Protection Officer to help embed best practices in data protection and assist with managing Subject Access Requests.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in data and eager to develop their career in reporting and information governance.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of this role, the Reporting and Data Officer's key responsibilities include…

  • Supporting the Business Information Manager in delivering Orwell's Data strategy.
  • Ensuring that excellent communication, engagement and collaborative working is applied to all reporting solutions.
  • Focusing all reporting and data solutions to improve, value for money, service provision, innovation and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Produce and present reports that help Orwell to understand and improve business performance.
  • Providing an effective response to Subject Access Requests.
  • Acting as a Data Protection champion to promote good practice.
  • Continually developing and improving your own skills and knowledge around data and reporting.

Person Specification…

  • A-level or equivalent work experience in an area such as Science or Computing.
  • Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Power Bi. 2
