Burns Court Project Lead

Permanent – 18.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about leading and delivering safe, effective and good quality care and support services to adults with mental health conditions?

We are seeking to recruit an individual who is passionate about leading a mental health project, with the aim of supporting customers to live independently.

Burns Court is a 10 bed (individual self contained flats) unit with a staff office, located in Maltby, Rotherham. The service has recently been re commissioned by RDaSH to deliver housing related support to ensure individuals with primary Mental Health needs, have access to safe, comfortable homes.

The team would work closely with the Assertive Outreach Team (AOT) in Rotherham, attending Multi Disciplinary meetings and providing holistic support. Customers would be supported for a period of up to two years, with the emphasis to move on into an independent living space

Main Aims - from the Job Description

Work in partnership with RDaSH Assertive Outreach Team, to ensure the project has minimal voids, is financially viable and delivers great outcomes to our customers.
Attend and organise Multi Disciplinary Meetings with AOT workers
Supervise two FTE keyworkers
Oversee and monitor referrals, needs assessments, outcome and risk management plans
Manage the support processes and procedures in place, sign off and review client outcome plans, promote client involvement and oversee volunteers to maximise social and leisure activities.
Responsible for maintaining a high standard of the living and working environment, compiling the Fire Risk Assessments and adhering to all legislative requirements.
Work within the budget set by the Head of Service, take corrective action as required and provide information regarding contractual, regulatory and legal obligations, inspections and audits.
Along with other Managers, ensure the project remains a safe staffing level, ensuring the rota is up to date.

Salary – 4D £34,391 - £37,670 (pro rata)
