Twelve year old child who needs support after school while parents are working.

They enjoy playing football, gaming, cooking and looking after their pet snake. The child has autism and needs close supervision due to poor motor skills and emotional dysregulation.

Main duties:
After-school supervision, activities included but not limited to…

Playing football or trampolining when it’s sunny and xbox when it’s raining.
Providing a light meal. These duties may vary from day to day.

Essential Skills, qualifications and experience

- A friendly person who has a good sense of humour, with the ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect.
- Flexible, adaptable and easy-going.
- Experience of working with neurodiverse children.
- Must like animals! We have a pet dog and pet snake.

Desirable
- Driving licence
- Childcare or Education Qualification
- Has an understanding of attachment issues

What you can expect to receive:
- Full training will be given, and you will be supported during your induction/first few weeks of working with us.
- Access to other training opportunities.

Hours of work:
6 hours per week, preferably this would be from 3-5pm 3 days a week, but we can be flexible for the right person
An additional 6 hours per week in school holidays.
