We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager or Manager to help lead a team at an Italian family restaurant in Hartlepool! We are looking for a candidate who has at least 5 years experience, is passionate and will create a positive environment for staff and customers. You will be a key part of the team, and will help lead the Front of House staff.
Key Responsibilities include:
Greeting & Seating customers, taking bookings, handling customer queries and complaints
Directing and managing waiting staff, scheduling staff shifts, writing rotas, training new staff, liaison with kitchen staff
Create and write cocktail menu for specials
Experience required:
We are looking for someone with 5 years of experience in this role
Health & Safety adherence and knowledge of documentation, Food Safety adherence
Knowledgeable about wines and pairings, cocktails and food. Be able to learn and be knowledgeable of our menu to advise customers who have dietary requirements
Be able to work well in a fast paced environment under pressure
This role offers a starting salary of £24,000, with a bonus depending on performance. This is a full time role working at least 40 hours over 5 days a week.
