Job Purpose
I am a mother to a 7-year-old daughter and am looking to employ a further Personal Assistant to support me on Fridays and ad-hoc cover.

I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome and depression. This makes me struggle physically with day to day living tasks as they require high energy input.

On Fridays (or Saturday) I need support with maintaining home, food delivery, meal preparation, laundry and tidying. You will need to be able to work during the school holidays as well as term time.

Ideally I am looking for someone who can also step in to cover holidays and sickness during the week when my daughter is home. This can include support with driving, swimming, going out and about and playtime to allow me rest. This means it would be an advantage if you have flexibility during the week and some experience with Neurodiversity.

Location: Martham, Norfolk

Main Duties:

• Household tasks such as deep cleaning, laundry, general tidying up
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Support when out and about
• Playtime with daughter

These duties may vary from day to day.

Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.

Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role. · Hours and times of work: 3 hours per week in total to be worked on a Friday, and ad-hoc cover duties. Additional hours to cover sickness and holiday throughout the year as required. Hours to be negotiated with Employer.
The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
