This is a community-based post located within the Emotional & Behavioural Team (EB1) of Tower Hamlets CAMHS (THCAMHS). The post holder will join a supportive, friendly and vibrant service and contribute to the positive working environment of the multi-disciplinary team. As well as weekly CPD meetings, there are a range of consultations slots to support clinical practice (such as working with trauma or neurodiversity, using DBT) and opportunities for the practitioner to grow and develop their skills.

The post holder will offer assessment andflexible, evidence-basedepisodes of care and interventions tochildren/young people and familiesfor a wide variety of clinical presentations.

The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.

ELFT has a strong ethos of Quality Improvement and we are keen to continually develop our service.
1. To provide comprehensive specialist assessments of children and young people referred with moderate, complex and severe mental health problems.
1. To collaboratively agree treatment goals and provide evidence based interventions, using routine outcome measures to evaluate change.
1. To maintain good clinical records and provide verbal and written communication/ reports to young people, families/carers and the professional network.
1. To contribute to the duty rota and complete risk assessment and safety plans with children and young people presenting in crisis as well as providing advice to parents/carers and professionals contacting CAMHS.
1. Contribute to the development of innovative and flexible approaches to delivering accessible and responsive mental health services.
