Childcare Assessor (level 2)
The post is offered on a sessional basis, with work undertaken as and when required during term time.
Each term, the Childcare Assessor will be required to complete placement visits for each student and complete the essential documentation. Visits will take place during the operational hours of the setting.
The hourly rate of pay for this role is aligned to the Sixth Form College Support staff incremental pay point range - NJC6 to NJC10:£14.28 (NJC6) per hour to £15.49 per hour (NJC10)(Please note: - the hourly rates above are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Childcare Assessor to support and assess students in their vocational learning and workplace practice within childcare settings.
The role of Childcare Assessor supports students in the development and delivery of the (New) Level 2 Childcare qualification in Health & Social Care, especially through identifying and sharing relevant information regarding student’s needs and taking active measures to ensure specific issues are recognised and appropriately supported.
The successful candidate will promote and encourage excellent standards of student behaviour and will observe and supervise students within a work placement environment.
