Based in Birmingham, Edgbaston and Redditch, we specialise in providing excellent education and support to learners with diverse and additional needs. We offer full-time Study Programmes that provide individualised learning experiences, whilst developing learner’s key employability and supported living skills. Our entire staff team are very passionate about making HBVC a great place for everyone to be and are committed to enabling learners to fulfil their aspirations. We have a unique approach to ensuring everyone feels a part of our college which is reflected in our core values of Openness, Determination, Excellence, Progress, Respect and Empowerment.

We first opened our doors in 2014 with 10 learners and 3 staff. Since then, we have successfully grown the college to what it is today, with 147 students and 88 staff. We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ college and I am now looking for a Tutor to join my team and contribute towards our aim of achieving ‘Outstanding’ status.

We are currently looking for a Sports Tutor to deliver our exciting Sports and Education programme, which is based within Redditch United Football Club (RUFC). In partnership with RUFC, our Sports and Education provision started in September 2021. The provision has made rapid progress and offers a unique programme which supports our learners to make excellent progress towards individual outcomes, which includes paid employment. We are looking to appoint a Sports Tutor who will work with existing staff to lead on the implementation and delivery of the curriculum that includes subjects such as Personal Development, Employability skills, English, Maths and BTEC Sport. We expect all Tutors to deliver excellence in Teaching, Learning and Assessment to give all learners an Outstanding experience and to maximise learner success and progress towards their vocational, independence, social and personal goals.
