We are looking for a well-organised, enthusiastic and highly effective teacher, who shares our passion for children’s learning and can identify with the vision and values of our school. Frogwell Primary School is a caring and highly inclusive mainstream school with a supportive and welcoming staff team and approximately 190 children on roll. We pride ourselves on providing a highly nurturing environment that supports all children to be physically, emotionally, mentally and socially healthy. Our school also hosts a Resource Base for pupils with complex learning needs. This vacancy is for the mainstream school but it is essential that the successful candidate shares the school’s ethos of inclusion. This is a permanent, part-time position for 3.5 days per week (0.7 FTE). This vacancy is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.

Purpose of this role

Carry out the duties of this post in line with the remit outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD)
Carry out the professional duties of a teacher
Be an excellent role model, exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community
To teach pupils within the school and to carry out such other associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher.
To support and sustain the school’s vision at all times
To ensure pupils (particularly those for whom you are primarily responsible) make excellent progress academically, socially and personally.
Duties and responsibilities

All teachers are required to carry out the duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. Teachers should also have due regard to the Teachers’ Standards (2012). Teachers’ performance will be assessed against the Teachers’ Standards as part of the appraisal process as relevant to their role in the school.
