Job Title: Administration Assistant Level 1
Actual Annual Salary: £21,523 - £23,460
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,136 - £27,398 (CLF Grade B). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 August 2026, Term time only (plus INSET days) Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to FridayAdditional role info: Working Pattern - Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm with 30-minute lunch (7.5 hours per day) and Friday 8am to 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch (7 hour day)Your opportunity to provide administration support to a busy academy playing a role in making a difference to students lives:Under the direction of senior staff, the Administration Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support to the academy. They will be expected to undertake administrative tasks such as reception duties, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and as well as some targeted admin support for specific areas such as work experience etc. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the academy
About you:
You will have good literacy and numeracy skills (evidenced by GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, equivalent qualifications or experience).Be an effective IT user, ideally including management information systems, to support effective delivery of administrative processes. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, keyboard skills and use of the internet.
Knowledge of good practice/ procedures in regard to ensuring compliance with data protection legislation (GDPR).
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Have good problem-solving skills. 
Pride yourself on your customer service and interpersonal skills.
