We’re expanding our nursing team and welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced Nurses who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care. With easy access to the M6 and M61 and close proximity to Chorley, The Lodge offers the perfect setting to build a fulfilling career.
Pay & Hours:
£20.69 per hour for day shifts (+£1 enhancement for nights)
Day & night shifts available
Enhanced rates for bank holidays
42 hours per week (part-time options available)
Casual positions also available.
What’s the Role?
You’ll spend most of your time within one community, getting to know residents and their individual needs. With full support from a buddy during training, you’ll build the confidence to work independently, providing hands-on care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You’ll:
Liaise with GPs, dieticians, and other health professionals.
Assess care plans and review medication.
Support residents and their families with tailored care.
Ideally, you will have experience working with dementia patients and individuals who exhibit challenging behaviours.
Upon joining, you’ll embark on a comprehensive Nursing Development Portfolio—offering training certified by Health Education England and competencies designed to enhance your career. Additionally, you’ll gain access to external university-accredited courses, mentorship opportunities, and advanced clinical skills training.
