Wardrobe Assistant

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Wardrobe Assistant to work on the West End production of MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION.

Written by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Dominic Cooke, set & costume design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Christopher Shutt and music by Angus MacRae – the production will open at the Garrick Theatre in May 2025.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience in a similar position on a large-scale production
Excellent hand and machine sewing skills
Ability to learn and perform dressing cues as the position will include dressing responsibilities
Excellent laundry skills – including ironing
Experience of working as a team; great communication and friendly manner
Ability and desire to learn new methods and improvements to working practices
Ability to work under direction or independently
Good computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel

Job Location: West End, London
Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 16th August 2025, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks; 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
