Please note in regards to location this role will be throughout the East Midlands areas travel will be required across (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northants sites) Please note this is a fixed term position for 24 months with the possibility of going permanentWorking hours: 35 hours per week (to be discussed at interview - some hours can be carried out whilst working from home)Interview Date: To be confirmedAn exciting opportunity exists to serve our Corps (our Churches) throughout the East Midlands areas (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northants). This role will provide a wide range of administrative support (including financial) to several Corps, to ensure our mission and ministry is able to function in a safe and complaint manner.This Corps Operational Support role will be based from our East Midlands Divisional Headquarters in Nottingham, but will also visit our Corps to support our team of Officers engaging in mission and ministry. This will embrace being actively involved in bookkeeping and banking, creating and updating risk assessments and other essential health and safety elements; ensuring we are updating safeguarding matters and liaising with our property teams where appropriate.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etcExperience of administration in team settings and organisationsExcellent level of English, both written and spokenAbility to prioritise, organise, manage your diary with visits to Corps over a large geographical areaThey possess a full UK driving licenceThat they have access to a car for work (though a pool car will be available to use most of the time)An ability to handle confidential information appropriatelyAn ability to work on own initiativeExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationshipsWe reserve the right to close the advert early and interview if suitable candidates apply before this date Sunday 27th April 2025.
