Are you EYFS qualified? Are you looking for flexible part-time work for a fantastic organisation dedicated to supporting children and families to achieve their best?
Recreate-U is looking for a hard-working, punctual, confident professional to join our team and deliver our programmes.
Hours:
1 to 1.5 days a week delivering our Best Start programme for six weeks, with the opportunity of further days as the programme grows.
Person Specification:
EYFS Teacher or TA qualification and/or experience of the Primary National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage,
Commitment to valuing inclusion and diversity,
Friendly and confident manner when communicating with children and adults, and
the ability to present information clearly and engagingly,
High expectations for all children and a commitment to supporting them to reach their full potential,
Good levels of IT literacy and communication for session delivery (e.g., presentations, online tools),
Good organisational skills,
Flexible and able to adapt to different learning environments and participant needs; able to think on your feet,
Good problem-solving skills to identify/resolve challenges that may arise during sessions,
Good team player,
Clean driving license and reliable vehicle – you will be delivering sessions in schools and family hubs around Salford, Bolton and Bury,
References and willingness to undertake a full DBS check required
Job Specification:
Delivering Recreate-U projects and activity sessions to groups of children and adults,
Teaching tools and techniques to increase wellbeing, improve mental health and support families to flourish in education,
Promoting good attendance/punctuality and monitoring attendance,
Ensuring the smooth operation of sessions, including technology and materials,
Adapting to the needs of the participants and the flow of the session,
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment,
Responsibility for, and commitment to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring that they are protected from harm,
Administration relating to programme activities such as maintaining registers of attendance and client records,
Being a point of contact for parents and carers/giving of information,
Following our organisation’s policies and procedures,
Posting regular updates about sessions and activities on Recreate-U’s social media, including tagging relevant funders and using appropriate hashtags,
Supervising volunteers,
Liaising with relevant colleagues on delivery and evaluations to inform future sessions,
Reporting key achievements, collating data and feedback to management for impact reports, and attending staff meetings,
Working closely with management to ensure the provision of high-quality services,
Other responsibilities supporting the company’s activities when needed.
