As a Housing Register Officer (BR6), you will play a vital role in ensuring that the housing needs of our community are met with efficiency and compassion. Responsibilities
Manage and process housing applications and registrations in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Provide accurate information and guidance to applicants regarding housing options and eligibility criteria.
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected, verified, and maintained in the housing register.
Conduct assessments and interviews with applicants to determine their housing needs and preferences.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate housing placements and transitions.
Monitor and review the housing register to ensure data accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Address and resolve inquiries and complaints from applicants and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
Proven experience in housing services or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and management.
