ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Family Practitioner Early Years, you will lead and support a team delivering high-quality early years services across two Birmingham districts. With a strong focus on child development from birth to five, you’ll manage outreach in community and home settings, ensure safeguarding is at the heart of all practice and work closely with partners to improve outcomes for children and families. This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll make a lasting difference through direct service delivery, team development and collaborative working.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in early years or early childhood and bring experience of managing or leading early years services. Confident in safeguarding practice and interagency working, you’ll also have a good understanding of the EYFS, SEND, and the challenges facing families. You’re a supportive team leader with excellent communication skills, passionate about narrowing the gap for children and making a meaningful impact through inclusive, community-based work.
