Skills & Experience:
Have studied or practiced skills relevant to marketing, digital marketing, or communications.
Strong knowledge of and confidence in using social media and other marketing platforms
Experience with social media management and ideally email marketing, and an understanding of what tactics help drive awareness and engagement.
Excellent IT skills, including ability to use Microsoft tools such as Outlook and SharePoint
Strong copywriting skills, with a knack for adjusting your tone for each audience and service.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences
The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
What's involved with this role: We are seeking to appoint a Communications and Marketing Assistant, to join the Communications and Marketing team. Reporting into the Digital Content Manager, the Marketing Assistant will support the team with copywriting, creating content and managing social media schedules, creating and sending email newsletters, and handling public enquiries.
Key Duties:
Providing support and assistance to the Communications and Marketing team, working with internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting website content, social content, copywriting, design and team admin.
Work closely with the Digital Content Manager, and Senior Marketing Officers, as well as Project Officers in the wider organisation.
