Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of traffic management strategies and road safety initiatives.
Conduct thorough analysis of traffic patterns and accident data to identify safety risks and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports, assessments, and recommendations to various stakeholders including city officials and community groups.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective traffic orders that comply with legislation and best practices.
Manage projects related to road safety audits, traffic surveys, and traffic flow studies.
Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of implemented traffic management plans and make adjustments as necessary.
Assist in the development of policies and guidelines related to road safety and traffic management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering, road safety, or transportation planning.
Strong knowledge of traffic management techniques, road safety legislation, and relevant engineering principles.
Proficiency in traffic simulation software and data analysis tools.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
Hours Per Week: 30.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £159.90
