Due to the expansion of our imaging service operating over 7 days between the hours of 08:00 to 20:00.



This is an exciting opportunity to undertake this role within the Imaging Department

The successful candidates will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will have daily patient interaction in writing, verbally over the telephone and F2F in person.



The role involves varied administrative tasks, from inputting patient information, processing referrals for scans, speaking to patients, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments, managing the Reception desk to filing or scanning documents using CRS and RISe systems.



The successful candidate will need to be proactive, flexible and reliable team player who can manage a varied workload to meet set targets and changing deadlines. They must be able to work within a confidential environment and adhere to Information Governance procedures. Computer literacy is essential as the incumbent will be expected to input and extract information from a number of booking and patient tracking systems. Full training for CRS and RISe will be provided on the job.



Cross-site cover for other teams within Imaging, CSD will be expected so cross modality training will be given for VUS, Nuc Med and Breast teams as needed/appropriate. It is essential to have a strong administrative background with good organisational skills. The successful candidates will need to actively demonstrate our WeCare Values and behaviours.

To ensure provision of a comprehensive and efficient booking and scheduling service for patients, that adheres to the Trust Access Policy and remains within national and local access targets.



The role requires the post holder to develop efficient and effective systems of work to ensure that patients experience good communication, choice of appointment and a personal and responsive service.



The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively across Reception / Scheduling and Imaging modalities as needed/required and will build up a working knowledge in all
