School Office Administrator
ME4-ME6 (dependent upon experience)
35 hours per week/40 weeks (term time plus 2) - Monday to Friday
We would consider a job share for the right candidates, which could include an increase in hours enabling an element of flexible working.
We are looking for an experienced office administrator to work within an experienced team to be responsible for all front of house duties and support in all aspects of school administration. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role, providing accurate and efficient administrative support. They will have excellent organisational skills, be able to independently prioritise in a fast paced, dynamic environment, pay attention to detail and be committed to high levels of customer service. This role is crucially important as the School Office Administrator is often one of the first people children, parents, staff and visitors see when they come into the school – and first impressions count!
The post will also involve: Front of House duties; maintaining the schools management information system; monitoring the school email; and a range of administrative processes including daily absence, school meals, educational visits and extra-curricular clubs - please see Job Description for more details.

Has good time management skills and is proactive when planning and prioritising their work
Is able to build strong professional relationships with all members of the school community, showing discretion at all times.
Has strong IT skills and is able to apply them in a range of ways.
Strives for accuracy, spying attention to detail.
Remains calm under pressure and is flexible when changes need to be made.
