Summary
Overview:
Masstemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading foundry in the Stourbridge area. We are looking for an experienced Foundry operative, specifically to operate Core Blowing machines.
Duties:
· Operating and setting Laempe core-making machines efficiently and safely.
· Ensuring all cores meet required quality and dimensional standards.
· Carrying out regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
· Following strict health & safety guidelines and maintaining a clean working environment.
· Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills/Requirements:
Previous experience operating Laempe or similar core-making machines is highly desirable.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
· Good attention to detail and quality control skills.
· Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
Days: 5am-4pm
or
Nights: 5pm-2:30am
Hourly rate up to £14 per hour.
