Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Major Works Manager
We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced individual for the role of
Major Works Manager in our Property Services Team.
The individual is responsible for delivering our major repair works and component replacements, ensuring our properties meet Decent Homes Standard.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing Major Works and component replacement
programmes that will enable Karbon Homes to meet its business objectives.
This includes investigating the root cause of property defects, managing and
overseeing a range of processes and procedures across the service area,
working with internal and external delivery teams to ensure program,
contract management duties and value for money.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues within
the customer services directorate, and across the organisation, and will possess excellent communication skills. We seek to develop and deliver a high-quality,
cost-effective service which is valued by customers.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is focused on delivering excellent customer experience and high levels of performance. As this is a new role to the business, we welcome new ideas and approaches and want someone that is willing to innovate. We are also seeking someone with a track record of success, and experience working at scale, with large budgets and delivery teams.
We are a growing organisation and need someone who is comfortable with change and progress.

- Major Works Manager – permanent role
- Salary is £44,678 per annum
- £617 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top-up or to purchase a range of benefits).
- Location: Either Morpeth, Gosforth, Newburn or Greengates Office
- Casual travel will be required
- 37 Hours per week.
