Summary

Applications are invited for the newly created position of Assistant Tax & Treasury Accountant, a role within the Finance Department at the University of South Wales. The role sits within the Financial Control and Compliance Team and will report to the Tax & Treasury Accountant. Based at the Pontypridd Campus at the University of South Wales. The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working; however, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.



This will be a critical financial role which will form part of a centre of expertise within the tax and treasury function for the University and its Subsidiary companies. The role will support the accountant in monitoring its investments and cashflows alongside submission of tax returns and providing advice and support when required.



We are looking for a self-motivated professional working towards full CCAB qualification, who is looking for a rare and exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of core taxation support and guidance within a complex organisation.



This is a full-time post.
