We are representing a leading Yorkshire Law Firm who, due to growth, are seeking a driven and meticulous Clinical Negligence Paralegal for their office in Leeds city centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with experience in a similar role to contribute to meaningful cases and advance their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
About the Role:
As a Claimant Clinical Negligence Paralegal, you will provide crucial support to our experienced fee earners, assisting with all aspects of clinical negligence claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of a caseload of claimant clinical negligence
matters.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and witness statements.
- Conducting thorough legal research and gathering evidence.
- Liaising with clients, medical experts, and other professionals.
- Preparing and organising court bundles.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.
- Supporting fee earners in all aspects of case progression.
About You:
- Experience as a Paralegal in a Claimant Clinical Negligence role.
- Strong understanding of clinical negligence procedures and legislation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
