Are you a confident and versatile communicator who can help to drive the growth of some of the most exciting and ambitious technologies in mental health?
We are now recruiting for a Communications and Marketing Manager to join theHealth Innovation Network(HIN) South London. This role is embedded within ourMindset-XR innovation Support programme, providing expert communications and marketing support with the aim of facilitating the broader adoption of immersive digital mental health therapeutics alongside traditional approaches to care.
Hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, we enjoy the benefits of being NHS members of staff while focusing on innovation to improve the lives of patients and staff in the health and care sector.
As the day-to-day lead for communications for the high-profile Mindset-XR programme, you will be expected to be comfortable managing a range of different communications and marketing activities. These could include:
· Content creation such as writing long-form blogs, social media content and (with the support of the wider team) multimedia projects;
· Providing one-to-one marketing advice to innovators;
· Planning and delivering multi-channel communications campaigns around key programme milestones and events;
· Providing strategic communications advice to help us engage with key audience groups such as commissioners, clinicians and patients, carers and service users;
· Supporting the delivery of face-to-face and virtual events.
You will also need to develop strong working relationships with the programme team, as well as the diverse group of external stakeholders involved in delivery of this national programme (such as communications teams at NHS mental health trusts, our commissioners, and representatives from our sub-contractors).
While the role does not have any formal line management responsibilities, you will coordinate and maintain oversight of communications outputs related to the Mindset-XR programme, working with the wider HIN communications team as necessary.
