The Paediatric Psychosocial Service (PPS), part of Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust (MFT) CAMHS which sits within the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is looking to recruit a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist/ Paediatric Neuropsychologist.

This is a brilliant opportunity for dedicated mental healthcare professionals to promote and improve the mental health and well-being of children and young people with physical health conditions and those who care for them.

We provide inpatient and outpatient support to patients with a wide range of physical health conditions on a local, regional, national and international basis. Working for the Paediatric Psychosocial Service at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, you'll work with children and young people aged up to 18 years and their families who present with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with physical health conditions.

You'll be supported to manage a defined caseload and have the responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children and young people. Roles also include consultation and liaison with medical teams.
• Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and interventions
• Contributing to MDT care planning and review
• Providing consultation, training and support to the wider team
• Developing the clinical psychology service in conjunction with senior colleagues
• Supervision of more junior colleagues, trainee and assistant psychologists or other psychological practitioners
• Contributing to audit and research

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
• An accredited post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology
• Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Post-qualification experience of working within the fields of paediatric, adolescent or adult health psycholog
